Grade 6 Integrated Science
A custom curriculum, designed from the research up — not adapted from any published program. Phenomenon-driven and NGSS three-dimensional, with Energy & Matter as the year-long throughline, differentiated with UDL, a full three-tier MTSS, and IEP/504 supports on every lesson, and paired with a zero-dependency tool that turns the work students do into live, flexible groups.

How it's designed
The research base →
The full design specification: NGSS 3D learning, UDL 3.0, MTSS, CASEL SEL, PBIS, retrieval/spacing/interleaving, worked examples, Rosenshine, dual coding, formative assessment, and WCAG 2.1 AA — each mapped to a lesson requirement.
Classroom display (SSOT) →
One projection screen for the room: lesson flow with phase timers and expectations, plus a teacher view with a live misconception watch, dynamic groups, RTI logging that measures response, and the assign-tonight / exit-ticket branching — with the "why" attached. Pairs with a printable observation tracker.
Printable observation tracker →
The paper companion to the classroom display: a one-page, print-ready grid for capturing per-student formative signals by hand, generated from the same lesson metadata so it stays in sync with the projection and the grouping dashboard.
Live MTSS grouping dashboard →
A zero-dependency, in-browser tool that reads the formative signals lessons capture and builds dynamic, flexible groups by mastery — the front door of a GitHub-native data lakehouse (no server, no database, nothing external).
Differentiated to the edge
Every lesson ships a reading-level toggle, text-to-speech, four additive support tiers (universal → targeted → intensive → extension), branching feedback, an SEL/PBIS launch, a brain break, and IEP/504 accommodation cards.
The year
Six units anchored to phenomena that fit the season they're taught in — cycle-agnostic, so any calendar works. All six units are fully built — 30 phenomenon-driven, MTSS-differentiated lessons, each ending in an NGSS performance task, with Energy & Matter spiraling through the whole year.
